So......What'cha Doin' Today????
I'll start!
Since Sonny is in Africa and Mom has this weekend off, I'll be spending part of it with my Mom. BTW...we KNOW Sonny is doing well for we got a phone call from Sonny when he was in Ethiopia, just before he arrived in his destination in Africa.
We are going thrift store shopping today! I thrift stores!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And, I am going through MY things at home, getting rid of "stuff" that I don't use or don't want anymore and passing it down to a friend of mine that has a mother that is basically homeless. She JUST got a trailer, thanks to my friend (her daughter), and now she needs furnishings.
Ya know, God is so good! This "homeless" mother could be me, so I THANK GOD for all I have. He has BLESSED me with so much!!!!!!
I love y'all! Have a wonderful Saturday FILLED with HIS LOVE!

Heyya Kevin!
Just wanted to tell you again that I enjoyed meeting you last night! You & Vicky are such a sweet couple!
My GOLD MINE thrift store is Asbury thrift store on Madison Blvd. If Vicky doesn't know of it or where it is, just let me know, and I will tell you where it is and the store hours. Many times they have DOLLAR DAYS where all clothings, shoes & purses are ALL $1. You cannot beat that! I went yesterday with my Mom & oldest daughter. I got a light fixture for just as you walk into my home...it cost me 2 and it is brand new. Tim's putting it up today! I also got a Waverly sage green shower curter with off white polka dots (and I LOVE polka dots!). It has already been put up as of yesterday!
I've bought a HAND SEW QUILT for $10. You CANNOT buy something like this for prices like these at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SO, you see, I am biased. I love this thrift store!!!!
WIll be talking to you & Vicky later.

Morning Jackie!
This morning I am simply being lazy! Hubby works till 1 or 1:30 today so I guess around 11 or so I will get up and do some heavy duty cleaning. Afterward we both will get showers and take my oldest out to dinner. This will be Terrell's last weekend home for a while, he is leaving tomarrow evening to go to North/South Carolina to work and he wont be bac****il a week before school starts back! My other son, Anthony, is off with a buddy of his so he wont be bac****il tomarrow I am sure, he almost lives over there! Later in the evening we are going to go mess around in the garden. Everything is looking so great out there, the tomato plants are getting huge and the corn too! We already have peppers sprouting out! Better run!
Have a great weekend and be safe this holiday! ~Susan

Hi Jackie, Finished cleaning the house, Maxie has food cooking, I am ready for my company NOW! The food smells sooooooooo good!! Went to the Auction last night, got some white bar stools to go in the kitchen around the counter, and some blue bird houses for my yard. We are going to dig potatoes afterwhile, Maxie is going to put them in the fresh green beans.Ya'll have a wonderful day! Love Ellen
Cleaning....& Moving stuff.
My middle step child is moving home from Minnesota in July. She and our 13 y/o grandson will be living here with us until we can find them a suitable home. So my guest room must be emptied and made ready for our grandson and my craft/sewing/computer room will become my step-daughter's room so it must be cleaned up too. So that is most likely how I will spend the majority of my Saturday's for awhile...lol.
Blessings,
Lisa
My husband played golf this morning so it was just me and our 2 yo granddaughter until around noon. After a quick lunch we took her to the exploreum in Mobile. She enjoyed the toddlers section quite a bit but was put off by the main exhibit called "The Human Body". Not something a 2yo would enjoy. She's napping now and gma is finally getting some rest. Hoping to dine out tonight. Don't really care where as long as I don't have to cook it!
