I know what you mean, Caremn. I was for Cook and my husband was for Archulatta, so it was exciting when he won. I like Archulatta ok,just not my type of music., and he seemed too young to deal with everything if he had won, but I am sure that he will do fine.

Jan, that sounds like our house.  I was for David C and my oldest daughter (she is 15) was for David A.  I really expected David A to win but when they said that David C had won, I started yelling "yes, my David won!!"  My youngest daughter (13) told me "he isn't YOUR David".  LOL  It was very exciting around here last night.  They were both very good but I just liked David C better.   Shel

Shel, I started yelling too when he won because everyone said Archulatta was going to win, funny thing is though is I didn't really care for Cook til the end of the season. He really grew on me when it got down to the two of them. I am glad his Mom got  to see him win and hopefully his brother that is sick got to see him.  Jan

This year I didn****ch!  I just have been so busy.  Can someone tell me where the other David was from?  I have kin folks with that last name out in NM and CA.  Just curious!

He was from Utah, but his maternal grandfather was Hispanic so some of his family may be from around those areas.
