New to this site!

I'm new to this website. I signed up like in 2005 when I was researching WLS. It wasn't until today a friend of mine that had lap band told me about this site and low and behold I came to it and had already signed up in 05. I edited my profile and I'm still trying to find friends from my area and I'm trying to figure this thing out! I'm 8 weeks out of Lap Band and I have lost 12lbs! I'm having a little bit of complication with  my port. It is twisted and my doctor can't seem to find the opening to it to fill my band. I'm getting a little worried b/c he told me that if he couldn't go through X ray and find it that way he would have to open me back up! Well I guess that sums me up pretty much! Hi Rebecca, I had lapband almost 2 yrs ago. I sure hope those complications straighten themselves out real quick. I have been blessed in that I have not had any. You just hang in there and keep pluggin'. If I can help or answer any questions just let me know. I'm not a medical person but having had the surgery I can provide my experiences. Keep us posted on how things go with you!
