For the past 2 springs I have developed weird symptoms. When I am awake and moving around it feels like I can't catch my breath. I am yawning and deep breathing Almost constantly. I went to the doc last year..he did all kinds of heart and lung tests..nada. It cleared up on it's own. Now it's back and really bothersome. It was bad enough yesterday that I used my son's nebulizer to help me get control. Not good, I know.
Recent events ..my hubby has started smoking again ( bllecch) . Not in the house or anything..but I can smell him!! It is god awful. When this happened last year I was working in a restaraunt that still allowed smoking...mmmhh..just wondering if the second hand smoke could be the culprit or if it is some weird allergy.
A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything.

Hey Renee,
I go through the same thing and can't really pinpoint what brings it on. One doctor says its bronchitis and another says its allergies. The yawning and trying to take a deep breath are the same syptoms I have. I feel like I can't get enough air and then at times it panics me and that makes it worse. I did this before WLS surgery so I know it doesn't have anything to do with that. I've been doing this for close to 10 years now. Most of the time I just put up with it but when it gets to the point where I start hyperventilating, then I go see someone. I don't think second hand smoke has really made a difference. It seems like the humidity makes it worse and of course, stress.

My son does the same thing. They tell me its allergies. When have been to all the doctors and ran all the test. Its only happens when the seasons change and it happens alot when our Pecan trees bloom. Our house sits in the middle of a pecan orchard. So he takes Singulair when this happens or starts right before the seasons change.
