2 wks out- tired of the same old food
What stage are you? At 2 weeks I still could not have food, food. I ate soupy mashed potatoes, soup, yogurt. Doctors are so different. Some don't restrict the diet after RNY but mine did. I followed his directions because I was so afraid not to. It will not be long before you will be eating real food again.
I can only advise you to follow your surgeon's guidelines since you are so early out. I am almost 2 1/2 years out now. If I remember, at 2 wks I could eat refried beans from Taco Bell..that was my 1st drive-thru food after RNY!! I was so excited!!
SF puddings, SF jello, cottage cheese, applesauce.....all should be good right now. Again, if you are not sure, contact your surgeon's office. Good luck to you!
Hey, Ms Ladybug!!!
Just hunkey-dorey!! Hope you are doing well. It was cloudy and cool here today. I took all 5 Schnauzers for haircuts this morning, then ran around most of the day. Tomorrow I intend to sleep late and do laundry. This is DH's weekend to work.
Love ya....I am on my way to bed, DH gets up at 340AM on work days...ugh!!
You know...I don't know what foods your M.D. wants you to follow at this stage or just where you should be because each physician is so different as to what they want their patient to do, but I do want you to keep one thing in mind. This too shall pass. This season of VERY LIMITED choices of foods will be gone before you know it, and I want to ENCOURAGE you to THINK INTO THE FUTURE for when ALL of this will be SO WORTH IT!!!
Hang in there!
