Hi Gina  Good to see on here. We need to get together for lunch before to long. Some of the other from our group will soon be off work for the summer. You have got to get that shoulder better for the new babies. Hope that you can make the next support group next week.

Thank you. I know I've got to get better.. the other day I was trying to get toothpicks away from Kaylee and she said "Stop Grandma, you are just gonna hurt yourself". I didn't know if I should laugh or cry. It's true though, almost everything I do causes pain. That doesn't mean, I don't do it, it just means I have learned to expect a certain amount of pain. Do you think we will ever have the "graduates" meetings again, like we did years ago? I have most Saturdays off so I MIGHT could attend them now. Karla almost never picks up the kids by 6 o'clock.. it's more like 7:30 and some times even later. Kaylee started karate today but her momma didnt get off in time so I ended up taking her. I looked like a bag lady.. I wasnt planning on getting out of the house.. LOL.. but it was fun watching those little kids do kicks and punches.

Love ya!  OH!  New news!!???  I'm getting married!  Can you believe it?  I am happier than I have EVER been.  God is SO good!  I can not wait for you to meet Lucy and for her to meet you.  Be blessed my friend.  I'm here if you need anything.  I can sure offer up some prayers.  How's the grandbabies?

CONGRATULATIONS!!! When is the wedding? The grands are good. I havent seen Ryan and Rowley but they sound OK on the phone. They are moving into a bigger house since their family is expanding so they dont have phone service right now but that should be restored soon. They have neighbors from Alabama - one is from Huntsville and one is from Mobile. Kaylee and Karsyn are fine. Kaylee started karate today and so far she says it's AWESOME!! Karsyn is as wild as ever and gets into everything but I wont go into all that. Kimberly is due June 20 but according to her measurements, is due in 3 and a half weeks. Her midwife says probably around June 7.. but it's still too early to predict. The moon wont be full until June 18.. LOL. We are planning our trip on June 14 so if the midwife is right, we might miss the birth. Then I am going to Germany and will stay the month of August. I have a BUSY summer planned.

Gina, Hey, I don't post much either.  Of course I have reasons but I wanted you to know that I really appreciate you being there for me when I first had gbs and helping me so much.  You were a true inspiration and still are. I don't want to play the name game but of course my sis Elle and bro Randall were there from the beginning and are still are.   I miss some of you, but I have a lot going on in my life and I find myself drawn away from the board and relying on Dr Dewitt and Stefanie for advice and guidance when I need it for physical needs and relying on my family (thank GOD I have the support because so many do not) and mostly relying on God to help me thru my daily battle with obesity.  I hope you shoulder improves quickly and I will be praying for you and my other Bros and Sis on board too.  I love you all!   Hugs Angie

Thank you Angie. It is very hard for me to be supportive right now. I am not negative but it's just hard to say "You can lost weight", when I am gaining. For that reason I find it easier to stay away. I dont eat any different from the average (long term) post op but my body reacts different and it hurts when people say "you can get back on track". If I get any further on track, I will either fall off the other side or the train will hit me!! It's easier to not post than it is to explain why I dont post. Know what I mean? I'm not saying I wont ever come back as a regular but that at this time, I cant do it.

I have missed you very much. Every time I see my frog signature I think of my buddy Gina!!! Also, I can totally understand about the weight gain situation. I will never again try to judge somebody that is putting weight on after having this surgery. Things change - your body changes, your attitude changes, your tastes change. There are just too many variables as to why some people put it back on and others maintain. I know that I can blame mine on not eating correctly but I also know that I eat nowhere near what I used to eat. I'm still in the gym and walking so lord only knows where I'd be if I wasn't active. I shudder to think. My doctor was no help at all when I went to see him. As a matter of fact, he discouraged me so much till I almost gave up on wanting to lose these extra pounds. I will not go back to him unless I have to. My doc here in town understands about WLS and has told me he will help me. He has made me feel like I am not a failure. Anyway, I've missed you and will be thinking about you and keeping you in my prayers. I've had frozen shoulder before and it took almost a year for mine to clear up. Now I look forward to tennis elbow anytime I overdo things. It is just as painful as the frozen shoulder was. I think I'm getting old!!!
