There was some very deep topics today on Ophra about women who have had the gastric bypass and how after food was no longer there addiction, they turned to alcohol and other things. I was very impressed by Carni Wilson. This really makes me think,and its so true that when we eat its not always just because we love food. Sometimes we eat for our addictive personalities, and to feed our emotional pain.

I know if you call Dr.Todds office they can tell you about the support groups. They have like 3 a week. there is this new gym here called Planet Fitness.  Its awesome, 20$ a month, unlimitied tanning and unlimited geust passes.

The 2007 event year is quickly coming to its end. We've had a lot of fun, met hundreds of people, made new friends, strengthened each other, and empowered ourselves to continue on our journeys. With the close of the 2007-year, our eyes turn to the future, to 2008. Where will we go? Our team has analyzed locations, researched demographics, met with support groups, consulted with area professionals for hours.. and HOURS.. and hours! We do this because YOU are worth it. It is our goal to reach out to as many people as possible. But, we can't decide where to kick off the 2008 year! We've arm wrestled, had ping pong tournaments, basketball games and other battles of wills. So... we need your help to make this decision! We're having a contest. Where do YOU want us to come to? Let us know! For the month of November, we will leave this post up. Reply and shout out to us where you want us to come to. Hello New in Alaska, I am a patient of Dr. Todd in Anchorage, I personally think he is AWESOME!!!!  He is a very attentive physician who listens and he loves the Lord.  I am 7 weeks out from my RNY surgery and I have lost 52 pounds!!!  I have a long way to go but I am so excited to be on this downward slide.   Try Dr. Michael Todd in Anchorage.
