Topic: RE: Is there a support group in Anchorage?
I asked one of the nurses in Dr Todd's office, she said the meetings are open to anyone. The meeting dates and times are listed on his website Alaska Bariatric Center. I think you will find both Dr Todd and his staff very helpful and friendly.

Can anyone who has had WLS go to Dr Todds support group or just the his patients? I had my surgery with another Doctor? Thank you for the reply!!

Congrats on having your surgery. I had mine 10/9/08, I too am in Anchorage and I think its the weather and darkness. I don't have all the energy but I do find myself stuck in the house a lot. See I just got here in July and I have never had to drive on the ice before so it keeps me in. I think it would be wise and I hope I take to my own words, to get out and walk it will bring up the endorphins, I just have to practice what I preach
