Moving to Elmendorf A.F.B. near Anchorage...

Hello All, I just found out a couple weeks ago that we are PCS'ing (moving) to Elmendorf AFB. I was wondering if any of you have a great surgeon in that area that you would recommend for me to "be followed" up with? I had my surgery Aug. 2nd, 2005. I met my goal over a month ago and now I am maintaining. Eventually I may need a small panni removal. Has anyone had plastic surgery up there in the Anchorage area? I was a little disappointed.... the messages that some of you posted didn't even have a reply from anyone. Are you all okay up there? : ) Hoping to hear from someone... Thanks for reading. Hi Jenna, I live in Anchorage. I haven't had surgery yet, however I have researched the heck out of the surgeons here in AK (there's not that many). Michael Todd however seems to be a popular name, and he's been around for quite a while. He works at the Alaska Bariatric Center here in Anchorage. Their web page is alaskabariatriccenter.com . Hi Joe, Thanks for replying. I was worried that there was no one up there in Alaska! : ) We should be arriving in Alaska in June of this year. I had my surgery done with Dr.Todd, he's a great DR and has a wonderful staff! We are stationed in Kodiak, AK. and they are always so good about working out appointments and such.

Hello.... I live on Fort Richardson so were almost neighbors lol I had my surgery almost a month ago by Dr. Todd. Hes wonderful. Not sure if he does follow-ups but im sure he does. Ill find the # and get it to you if you would like. Congrats on meeting your goal!!!

Jenna ~ We're stationed at Eielson AFB near Fairbanks. I had surgery with Dr. Todd in July 05. I know that he is very particular about taking follow-up patients but I believe the biggest reason is because so many people leave AK to get the surgery done and then come back expecting support. Contact his office for more information. He's a great Dr.; but he's become so busy that it may take a while for someone to return your call and/or to get an appointment. Maria 272/159/155
