anchorage doctor recommendations

Hey Everyone!  My friend lives in anchorage, Alaska and needs a WLS doctor recommendation.  She was going to one primary doctor, getting weighed everymonth to prove she was on a diet plan for six months then she went to see some family in the lower 48 for the holidays and the doctor said they had to start the process all over.  She is very upset and about to give up.  Please give us a recommendation of a good primary doctor that will support her in her decision to get weight loss surgery and please tell me the name of a good weight loss surgery doctor that will help her.  Any suggestions you have will be appreciated.  michelle

Hey my mom grew up in globe and i am from show low...small world. now i live in north pole. i fly down to see Dr. Searles but Dr. Todd is also in anchorage. they are both very good wls docs. best of luck to your friend!

I LOVE Doc Searles!  As log as her insurance doesn't have a funky requirement about her previous weigh-ins Doc Searles won't either.  He is fantastic and really went the extra mile to make my approval seamless!! Kari
