Hello from Fairbanks

Hello Fairbanks OH members.

I am hopeing if someone can tell me if they have ever used John Mayer MD.  If so what was your overal experinces. Good or Bad please tell.

I had my RNY done in November 2007. I had it done in Fairbanks by Dr. John Mayer. He is a general surgeon, but practiced bariatrics in the Army. He is a wonderful doctor and did a very nice job on me. Just thought I would put this out there for those of you who dont want to travel all the way to Anchorage. Rusty

My daughter is two years out on RNY and is doing great! Dr. Mayer and his wife are her docs and she really likes them. Great bedside manner and very caring. Pat, the doctor's nurse is a real sweety! Guess it depends on whci kind of WLS you will need or want.
