Doctors In Alaska????

Hello In Alaska, I am new to Alaska and am looking for a doctor to do my yearly checkups.  Can anyone tell me who their doctor is?  I live in Fairbanks, but anywhere is fine for right now.  Thank you so much. Deej

`Well, I would suggest Dr. Snyder down here in Anchorage but he's retiring. Bummer. He's a great guy. I guess I will just keep on going to my regular MD. Camai

I lived in Anchorage 30+ years, so don't mind my Indiana address.... Dr. Todd is very reputable in Anchorage.  he performed my best friend's surgery, and she has done very well.    He is a christian Dr- often saying prayers w/patients before surgery. Good luck

Hello Deej....I would love to see you in group for numerous reasons.... #1 I also lived in Clovis and feel a kinship there #2 our wls support group has a wide variety of surgeons and those who look after us...perhaps you can tap into their knowledge #3 it's hard enough moving into the interior of Alaska without friends...nevertheless understanding who is wls friendly and not Come join our group with some questions....we meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday at Tanana Valley Clinic...3rd floor conference room. Hello New in Alaska, I am a patient of Dr. Todd in Anchorage, I personally think he is AWESOME!!!!  He is a very attentive physician who listens and he loves the Lord.  I am 7 weeks out from my RNY surgery and I have lost 52 pounds!!!  I have a long way to go but I am so excited to be on this downward slide.   Try Dr. Michael Todd in Anchorage. I had my RNY done in November 2007. I had it done in Fairbanks by Dr. John Mayer. He is a general surgeon, but practiced bariatrics in the Army. He is a wonderful doctor and did a very nice job on me. Just thought I would put this out there for those of you who dont want to travel all the way to Anchorage. Rusty
