Am I expecting too much, but I am three weeks out and if I don't get a nap I am exhausted. All else is going well...eating ok and fluid intake is ok. But dang, I am tired.
I was pretty much the same at that stage too. I am 10 weeks out and in just the last couple of weeks have I gotten energized. It is amazing. I've been extremely disappointed with my weight loss, it's been so slow. I've only lost 43 lbs and 17 of those were in the week just before the surgery and the week after. Since then, it's just been so slow and then to not have energy either, I was having doubts about my decision to have had the surgery. Well, I'm still not losing fast, even went a whole week without ANY loss, but I do have ALOT more energy. I'm exercising an hour every day, either treadmill, stationary bike and bowflex. A couple of days ago I did a half hour on the treadmill, a half hour on the bike, then I did three loads of laundry, dusted and vacuumed the house and mowed the lawn, all before noon! Just hang in there, it will come and you will be amazed. After years of feeling like a big lump, I can't believe how much I'm moving around now. It will happen to you too. You are still recovering from major surgery.

Thanks for the encouragement. I needed that. I am feeling somewhat more energy but not ready to run any races. I should get more exercise. We don't have any equipment at the house but I do have access to a gym. I hesitate, at this weight, to go in there but I guess I just need to get past that.
Good luck on your weight loss. Let me know how you're progressing.
