hello tracey  I had my  surgery done in Edmonton waiting now on revision ,  but I was told red deer is not a long wait  I know your perhaps  wanting this fast as most people are , but I want to say  these modules  are  classes you take to understand food and yourself better ,   one of the modules is call craving change and that  book is so worth   it  ,   it explains ways to help you before and also after surgery in understanding why you perhaps crave certain foods ,  my suggestion is  please take the modules if there offered ,  they will help you in the long run  ,,,,   before I would actually consider surgery in mexico I would speak to the doctor in red deer clinic first , explain your feelings and concerns ,  You maybe surprised on how fast your surgery may take  and save yourself a lot of money ...  Your weight wise clinic should  have the modules you need,   now maybe they just give you them to read im not sure , but I know I took all 10 classes twice once for me and I went back as support for my son also I learned a lot from the module teachings to be very honest ,    there a very important part of this process

I find myself gagging now as well and I find that I am not drinking as much of them as I am supposed to be drinking because they make me feel sick now.  I am drinking more flavored water to help break up the day.  Ugh, one week down and 2 more to go.  this may get tricky

Hi Tracey, I do not know how long to get into surgery. But I was told that these modules need to be done for the weight wise clinic.

Call 1-877-314-6997 and ask about the weight wise modules for your area. You have to sign up for them.

My Intact for Red Deer isnt until Oct / Nov. they told me that was when the next session was. I have already gone for all my medical appointments, (Heart stress tst, Sleep Apnea which I am now on a CPAP machine, belood work and more blood work etc..) Nobody will give me any other information on what I can do in the mean time to prepare for my intake.  I dont even have a clue as to when I can predict or expect how long it will take to have surgery. How many months / years away.  In the meantime I am seriously considering Mexico...I know I have to pay out of my pocket but it is only a fraction of the cost it is here and I have heard so many people from all over canada have gone and are very happy with the whole experience before and after.... I just dont want to wait years to have it done here Im 49 years old I want to get my life on track ASAP.  CAN someone give me any predicted time line? ALSO WHAT IS A MODULE you are all talking about.  Thans so much I appreciate all your help

I was with Calgary also in January 2015 and they told me Red Deer would be quicker to have surgery. All I have been told is that my intake (Orientation) will be in October or November 2015. I have since signed up for the living wellness nutrition classes which dont start until Sept 12, 2015. Wanted to start those before I go for my first appointment.  I'm anxious to get this done quickly because I really need to start working again but if I start now there would be no way I could go for my appointments as I wouldnt be able to get the time off.  So I am desperately trying to put work on hold until I am done. :)

My timeline with the Red Deer clinic went relatively fast. I went to orientation end of March, lost my 10% by Sept, endoscopy Oct 10, surgery Nov 12. They crammed the 3 classes inbetween the endoscopy and the surgery. It all depends on what they get for surgery dates.
