Things are slowly getting better. I'm back to a more regular eating schedule with better amounts. Before you know it March 1st will be here and yes it's a big step but definitely worth it.

Gall Bladder surgery April 12,2012
You can either believe it will happen.....or believe it won't. Both are self fulfilled prophesies. For Me it has happened. My Surgery was September 21/2010
How are you doing now? I tried to add you as a friend but it didn't work. I have an appointment to see Dr. Birch on March 1. very very nervous about taking the big step of surgery and how it will change my body and my life forever.
just wondering if anyone knows what Dr Sharma does in weight wise i know who he is and all but i didnt think he actually done surgery's anymore and i was told a friend of mine has to see Dr Sharma they told him he was on the right track for surgery but bascially i figured he would see kwon or modi instead he sees Dr Sharma anyone know why that would be the case perhaps ?
I have had WLS out of country and it is amazing!! Will never regret my decision and look forward to helping more people learn about it.
the big deciding factor for me was because we want to have children after WLS. RNY has malabsorption as part of its weight loss process, during pregnancy this can cause issues if the baby or yourself isnt getting enough nutrients even with regular vitamins.
over time the weight loss recorded by both surgeries is roughly equal, so I chose the sleeve

Hello
Teenuh was wondering why you choose the Sleeve vs RNY
I'm still trying to decide on one of the two
Thanks and good luck on Wednesday!!
When you get your call for surgery, then you have to call and book your PAC yourself.
they do it close to your surgery...my PAC is monday, surgery on Wednesday
I will find out monday night the time i have to be at the hospital wednesday.
I was never given a pre op diet, just nothing after midnight the night before.
My reason for surgery is infertility, our infertility doctor is the one *****ferred me.
My timeline:
Call for first appt - October 2011
First appt Dec 5, 2011
Second appt Feb 2012 (long wait in between because i after the first appt the nurse told me i might not lose as much weight as i needed to get pregnant....was discourage...needed time to think about everything before coming back and deciding to continue with the WW clinic)
body scan in march 2012
cont'd appts
approved end of May 2012
3hr class/seminar for post op info in July 2012

40lbs is a awesome amount....... the clinic seems to be not so much on amount of weight lost but on continued improvement, I have only lost 17 lbs since being at the clinic..... but I haven't gained, but I have stayed the same many times lol
I totally understand the having babies thing....... I'm in the same boat..... my son is 4yr old....... I would of liked to have another baby by now but can't as my pregnancy with him was very high risk and he was born early......all my pregnancy problems should be corrected with weight loss.
Hope all goes smoothly for you
