Mine said I'd lose around 80 pounds by 18 months post op. my starting weight was 255 lbs. I'm currently 12 months post op and 122 lbs. I've lost 133 lbs! I'm so happy she was wrong, but also happy my expectations were not set too high either. So it's been a nice surprise! I bet you will have no trouble reaching your goal!

Sorry to be a bit of a downer. I'm sure they must base these clinic models on some sort of identified set of ideal practice guidelines, as outlined in the literature.
If I was to be asked for feedback I would simply indicate that there needs to be less hoops to jump through-- either screened in or out. Then one can make an informed decision about continuing with classes, with the option to chose not to stay on the wait list for surgery if the classes are enough.
I am a full-time working professional, single parent and part-time graduate student. I don't have a lot of free time to waste to prove to AHS how dedicated I am about the possibility of having a surgery that would improve my quality of life.
:-( still being a downer....

That doesn't mean I can't work harder and be above average, right? To heck with "very good" I intend to be awesome.

My husband is considering being sleeved as well, although he wouldn't qualify here. He has severe sleep apnea and takes 3 drugs to (try to) control his blood pressure, but he's "only" 50# overweight.
