It isn't going to cover everything by a long shot, but it's money you don't have now and the rest (including flights for yourself and your support person) is tax deductible.

Chapstick for sure! My lips were sooo dry! I brought pj's but didn't wear them as I just stayed in the hospital gowns.

Good luck and cheers to a speedy recovery! I'm from Calgary, but went to dr Nohr in med hat for my Rny 13 months ago. My instructions were the same as yours, no eating or drinking past midnight the night before. I have a consult with him coming up on april 4 for a panni.

Can you guys help me? I am trying to figure out how to fill out the form.
There is a practioner section and then hospital section.
Did you put it all under hospital?
My receipt includes dietician consult, ekg/lab work, cardiologist evaluation, surgeons fee, anesthesiologist fee, operating room and hospital fees.
I am not sure what goes where and I don't want to wait two months to get just get denied.
Laproscopic surgery does not have the same recovery times as open surgeries. In both my lap VSG/RNY surgeries, I was ready to return to work in 2 weeks. The problem was that Dr. Karmali likely won't see you for likely 3 weeks from your surgery date for your first follow-up unless there are issues.
Cheers!

I work in an office setting so not a labour job. However I have heard from many people that the first few weeks you are pretty weak as well as tired. So I assuming 4 weeks down time at least.
A friend of mine will take the daycare for the first 3 weeks...and my husband will help me out for 3 more weeks...so 6 weeks mostly off....
and you...waht are you doing for a living?
Bring earplugs! It is so noisy and you will just want to sleep!
They have almost everything else you need, and your visit will be short.
Good luck!
