congrats on your sleeve i too wanted the rny but my doctor run into complications too and ended up sleeving me as well i was very disappointed at first yet appreciate at least he done something to help me , till i had my first visit with him the other day and now i am actually happy to be sleeved for he given me alot of hope and well things are starting to get better for me im actually one month out and lost 29 lbs since surgery ...you too will do awesome speedy recovery for you as well

so I went for surgery on Wednesday morning.....but the surgeon got minor problems and couldn't do the by bass....so it ended in sleeve....
I'm home....in pain...but I'm surprise how fast the recovery goes....

Good for you !!! although your going through the Red Deer program we also have a group on Facebook called patients of Weight Wise Edmonton and area......great people on the group who are at all different stages of the program :)

Thanks for the heads up. I rec'd a letter to attend an information session, plus, my dr. told me I was accepted into the program so I thought it was the first step (of many) to a WLS end result. I'll attend the session and see what they say.
I've also been referred to Edmonton so I'll see which opportunity pans out, I guess.
