Hi, thanks for the reply. After 4 days of trying to call them during business hours I finally talked to a human.
That is very exciting for you- it sounds like surgery is happening soon for you?
May I ask- what kind of timeframe do they give you for the wait for surgery, after you first meet with them?

Try as soon as they open I always have luck :0) . I was referred last March and I finally got in Sept and now I am on the waiting
list for surgery ! Hope this helps :0)
I have tried several times now to call the Bariatric Clinic in Red Deer and have yet to get anything except an answering machine. I've only left one message, so I'm not pestering-- I'm trying to find out where I am at on the wait list for a first appointment (was referred in October).
Has anyone else had difficulty connecting to get information there? Maybe they don't have anyone who actually answers the phone?

Hi everyone....
I'm starting to have my energy back...yeah!!!!!
I went to the pool Saturday with my familly....the first time in years....but when I'm saying years....I mean YEEEAAARRRSSS!!!! It felt so good! can't believe that I mist all of that because I was shy to be in a swimsuit.... but I realize a couple months ago that even when I'm fully dress, I'm still obese....and the people who will judge me will do it no mater how I'm dress....
so I went back yesterday and I want to go back tomorrow....yeah!!! :) I'm even thinking about taking some aquafit lessons....but I'll take it easy....so for the next two weeks I'll go at the public swim as often as possible.....and after that I'll try aquafitness... :)
and by the way...another 5lb gone! bye bye! I wont miss you!
