So my surgery was scheduled to be in 2 weeks on December 5th....i get a call today saying its bumped to January because apparently the doc can't figure out how to book flights around his OR date....i'm so choked...this really screws with my work (dayhome) and all the other lives affected b y this....i have a gramma coming in from newfoundland to watch her grandson while i was off work....not to mention the care everyone else has had to line up....my scalp is tickling i'm so angry....and no care...no nothing....i'm so pissed
i guess it doesnt matter now....they called to day to reschedule my surgery for Jan.....something about a flight schedule or something on his behalf....i'm so livid....
It might be different now but when I had my surgery I was told that there was a zero tolerance for weight gain and that my surgery would be canceled if on my final weigh in day I was up. I was so scared and stress and because I didn't have to do a liquid diet I only had 2 days notice for my pre-admission and 5 days for surgery. Lucky for me I was down but seriously I would call the clinic and talk to them.
Good Luck.
Kee.

awesome thanks....
i've been keeping up with my elliptical...hopefully that helps...i'm busy busy right up literally until the day we leave for edmonton...we're planning on going to the telus world of science after my PAC day and weigh in days... so lots of walking in there...might even take our swim suits and go before the big day...
You will be fine, if you have been stable for along time they will not care that much.
A lot of things make you gain, be sure to talk to them and you should not have a problem.
Looks like you are almost there, I can tell you be sure to stay active right up to the day of your surgery, it helps a lot in recovery.
