Dr. Davey info please

Hi Carolyn, thank you for all your information. It will be interesting if Saskatchewan will come through with the funding...hopefully my faith in Medicare will not be tested! I am not from Bonnyville, in fact about 3 hours away, and never have gone there before, but at times we will be referred to Edmonton. The referral went to Bonnyville as it is much faster to get in with. fingers crossed.

Hi Everyone: I had my surgery done by Dr.Davey and I was going back and forth to Bonnyville for about 8 months before I had it. I know alot of people personally that have had the surgery done by him and have not had to wait as long as 2 years. What I would do if you are serious about the surgery I would go to a dietician and get on a good eating plan, I was put on 1200 calories and exercised everyday, and have your family doctor document your weight loss, take that info with you to see Doctor Davey, once he see's you are serious about getting healthy maybe your surgery will be booked quicker. He does ask you to lose weight before the surgery and to document everything you are eating. If you have any questions just drop me a line and I will help you if I can. Good luck!

Hi Just wondering what office I can call in Bonnyville to see Dr Davey. I am being refferred to him, and if it is quicker to see him in Bonnyville, then I may look at that option. Thanks for any info. Kris Prince Albert
