Sleeve on May 28, 2015 in Tijuana @ OCC

Hi all,

I had my sleeve in Tijuana at the OCC (Obesity Control Center, Dr Otiz).  Amazing facility.  Very professional.

I have lost 11 lbs post surgery.  No hunger pain.  Typical soreness post surgery....went away on day 5.

The only issue I have.....Heartburn.  Have been popping Rolaids & Tums.  

I have always been a big water drinker....so I don't think dehydration is the problem.

I sent an email to OCC...I hope to speak to a doctor this week.

Any suggestions ?

Hi Zeb1967, glad to hear everything went well for you. I have struggled with heartburn for years. I find the green and white dinner mints you get from restaurants works great for heartburn. It's the peppermint in them that has helps. 

Hope you figure out your heartburn. 

I was prescribed an acid reducer for the first six months after surgery, you might want to have your doctor prescribe you something.
