quick question

hello, 

i am currently on the waitlist for wls in calgary. i have been on it since early june 2014. i have an intake meeting coming up on dec 29 and i was wondering if anyone out there can give me a guesstimate of how quickly surgery happens after this appt.

i have not lost weight and am really struggling. when i asked my dietician about the 10% weight loss, she said i just had to complete the 3 week pre-op liquid protein diet. is this true for calgary clinic?

i am so excited and nervous at same time.

i apprecaite any advice or answers.

Have you completed all the classes already?  From the time I completed the classes to when I got the call for my meet up with the nurse and psychologist (indicating I was approved for surgery) was about 8 months.  After that meeting it was about 3 months until I had my surgery.

Thank you for the replies missnexxie. I did finish my classes and met with nurse my nex apptt is with the psychologist next Monda. From what I understand, after psychologist meeting comes surgeon meeting.
