Red deer WLS timeline
The evolution study doesn't want you to start any new diet programs. They're pretty clear about that in their information that they will give you. They want to know if the information they give you helps in weight loss. So it's best not to start a new diet plan just yet. You should follow the information they give you. As for the 10% my nurse said that the surgeon might look at the weight from my study weigh is as the starting weight. I managed the 10% (juuuust) with out that so he didn't ask and it didn't really matter. So there is a good chance that they will take you weight from that. I'm thinking if you're having problems getting down to that they would totally use it. The clinic doesn't really like diets either. It's probably a smart plan to just cut back on your volume of food. And to start tracking everything you eat either in a journal or an app like my fitness pal and see where you are with daily calories. At orientation they tell you to start tracking that day. So get a head start. Hope this helps

Yes that's the right mind set to be in! Totally. Hang in there. I was super raring to go too but the time has really gone by quickly. You'll be there before you know it! I found the unknown the worse part. Once you're in and talking to someone and have more appointments booked you'll feel sooo much better! When I went for my first evolution appointment they booked my orientation and first nurse appointment that day. So you're almost there, hold on! :)
