Red Deer Patients - Who wants protein products?

I'm 2 weeks post-op and though I didn't tolerate protein shakes and such well before surgery I could get them down.  Not anymore :( I'm having gall bladder complications and it's keeping me from getting most things down.  By the time I get this settled I will be on solid foods and not in need of shakes.

I was going to drop all this protein stuff off at the food bank but if anybody wants my collection of shakes, juices, soups and plain powder you can have them.  Everything is sealed and brand new (within the last month).  I do have a brand new container of Unjury Chicken Soup Powder with 1/2 a scoop gone from it.  You can have that also if you don't mind that it has been opened.

I'm in the Innisfail area but go to Red Deer often so we could meet up.

Let me know by email as I can never remember to check my messages on here [email protected].  This stuff will go to the food bank soon if nobody wants it :)

God bless,

Michelle

You're giving it all away??  I emailed you earlier about some Syntrax...now you're making me re-think my whole "I need to get my protein in from food and cut down on powders" thing!  Email me when you can, I will take some stuff from you, and if you want some Syntrax I can give you some to at least try if you like.

lol I just emailed you back!  I found a taker for it all which is so good it's going to a good home!  If I could have got it in I would have used them for a while but I'd rather do real food as soon as allowed.  My reaction to all that protein stuff isn't worth it.  Now to get my liquid intake up higher!

Where do you get your Syntrax from, because I am looking for their Mint Cookie flavor and I can not find it any where in Canada and nobody delivers here either.

You are getting rid of protein shakes!  Wow! I still semi-regularly drink them and I am 4 years out from surgery.  They are a great way to keep your protein levels up so you do not get carb cravings.  I mix one with a frozen banana, some hemp seed or chia seeds and that is so filling, low cal, low fat and high protein!  AH well, too each his own; I wish I was in your province...I would have scooped them!!! lol
