does anybody know what the maximum bmi someone is allowed in medicine hat with dr. nohr??

For the sleeve, he told me 45.  For RNY, I don't think there was one.

Does Dr. Nohr do the sleeve now as well as the RNY?  That's awesome.  Two years ago, I think he was only doing RNY.  At least I never got the option of the sleeve.  Back then it was a min of 100 lbs overweight to get the RNY.  I think a little less if you had additional medical issues.  As for max, I am not sure.

My daughter had VSG surgery with Dr Nohr yesterday. Her starting BMI was 50+ with significant co-morbs (which may have influenced his decision to take her case). He has been doing VSG for less than a year, so has less than 100  under his belt. However he is an excellent surgeon who is meticulous in his approach, so I had no worries at all. Her sleeve is perfectly straight with no leaks.  Looks like she will go home Thursday, which is a day earlier than anticipated.
