Got my date. November 26!!

I am so excited. I got a call from Dr. Birch office today and my surgery date will be NOVEMBER 26. So now its time to shop my ENSURE tonight and get things ready for the big day.

That's wonderful news Anne!  As I'm sure you've heard, the pre op diet can be difficult at first, but it smoothes out. And then it will be surgery day :).

Woooo hoooo, congrats!! You guys will have to meet up in the hospital!. AnneM. Do you remember the exact day you signed? I am getting so exited now seeing you guys get dates!!!

Hi, I am so happy for you. I was wondering when did you meet Dr. Birch. I met him last July so I wanted to know when can I expect a call from his office.

It was in April.

I got the call on Friday!x my surgery is on December 11! Going for my ensure tonight, I start liquid diet on Tuesday, how is your liquid diet going?

Whoooo congrats!! My surgery was moved from tomorrow to Thursday the 28 only two days longer. The liquid has been tough but we can do it! Good luck with everything!

Congratulations!  It will be wonderful to have completed this part of your journey prior to the holidays. 

I met with Dr. Birch earlier this week and have officially been taken off the waiting list.  Seems I am too close to a normal BMI to make surgery viable.  My BMI began at 43 at the WW clinic and with a lot of hard work I've brought it down to 26-ish.  One good thing, though, (as I'm still very much afraid I'll put back all the extra pounds I've lost) is that I've got the referral to the plastic surgeon.  Now to wait another six months...  Such is life I guess.  As you can imagine, I have very mixed feelings about it all.
