I got my date!

November 25th (which is also my son's birthday so I know it's a great day for new beginnings!)

I didn't think I could make it much longer without getting a date...I am not a patient person! lol

So excited to be moving forward

I think that your absolutely right in regard to your surgery date and that being your son's birthday. Its all good karma .

May I ask how long you have had to wait from your referral till the set date?

I believe it's been a solid year since I went to my doctor to ask for a referral.  A long, long year!  But it will be seven months from orientation to surgery...so that's not bad.

Yay yay yay!  I'm so glad you didn't have to wait much longer!  November 25 is a perfect day!  It'll be here before you know it!

Your surgery date is also my daughter's birthday :-)  The time will fly by and before you know it you will be on the Loser's Bench!  Wishing you well in your final preparations.

July 10th was my appt with the Dr and when they officially crossed me over to the weight list.  

I got a call last week bumping my surgery to December 23rd.  Someone else I know with the RDC also had that done to them.  I hope it's not common but I fear it is.

Sigh :(
