Red Deer Clinic - Fall/Winter - Any dates set????

Thank you everyone for your replies.  I know I can't give up but the bumps in the road are high at times!

I had an appointment with the nurse yesterday and she was very understanding and says that most people go through this.  She completely understood how hard it is to wait and said I'm doing fine.  We talked about food and she didn't mind my choices so much so I just have to work on portion control.  Not gaining weight has helped. 

My plans are to write out a weekly diet, go back to counting calories (I was most successful with that) and give my self a break with the stress!

She told me there is 3 or 4 of us up for surgery right now and as soon as they get the dates I will be one to receive one.  It's out of their control which makes it hard for them to give answers but at least now I know that it's on a first come first serve basis.  Somehow I thought it was based more on need.  And seeing that several times I've gone into the clinic I had someone (another client) giving me attitude and telling me I'm too small to need surgery I thought I'd be passed over. lol I never thought I'd be looked down on by other people for being too small :p  I look forward to it happening more!

I'm glad you're not giving up!  Yes, I go to the Red Deer clinic too...who is your main nurse?  Mine is Darla. I was there today to meet the anesthetist, I saw my nurse and she told me as soon as they have dates I should hopefully be getting a call. I'm so anxious, I just want it to be NOW.
