2 week post op - fleur de lis panniculectomy
Thank you so much! Even with the scars right now, I feel so much better then seeing what looked like to me crape paper skin... And really it's only been 2 weeks so I am sure even next year the scaring will have smoothed and lightened up.... It was 100% covered, thank goodness! I'm very happy I didn't chicken out :)

For the Rny I needed a referral but I think because I was already seen by him I didn't require a referral for the panni. I just called his office and booked consultation... Are you considering a panni?

Yeah it's pretty amazing how "normal" looking my belly is... I don't ever remember having a flat tummy in my entire life before.... I kept almost chickening out when I would think of all the staples and huge cuts.... But then I decided to let go of my fears! When you reach your goal, and book a panni, just remember the pain part of it is only temporary, and really, not at all as bad as you would think it should be!
