GOT MY SURGERY DATE

Got my surgery date last week ....so excited!!   I remember about a year ago posting about my first apt!!.   Now that its booked, Im really getting nervous  !!!     Also just wanted to remind those that dont know we have a great support group on Facebook called Patients of Weight Wise Edmonton ...but anyone who is considering weight loss surgery is welcome !!!

Congratulations!  Was it a longer wait then they said it would be?  I was told about 8 months.

Thanks !  My original date would have been in late may however, I asked to wait until July because of my job.  If I had my surgery in May it would have been about 11 months from my first apt. at the clinic.  It really does vary though between people.  If you comply with everything they ask you do to and they see you making lifestyle changes you will be through within a year.  :)   Good Luck :)

Was that a year from first appointment with Weight wise or first appointment with surgeon?

Its been about a year since my first apt at weight wise :)  I had about a 7 month wait from time I signed consent with surgeon :)
