Goal Reached!

I'm stilling trying to figure this out myself. I'm one of those people who keeps saying just a few more pounds and continue to wonder if I'll ever be satisfied.

I hit my goal of 150 after having emergency surgery in December and again in January so I knew I'd have rebound gain from that and it hasn't been so bad but I keep focusing on according to bmi stats that I am still considered overweight and it kills me. I just seriously want to be labeled normal.

I've had a plastics consult and have been approved for panni surgery but have to pay out of pocket for the tummy tuck and monsplasty part myself, also been approved for a breast reduction but have to pay the lift portion myself so I'm hoping that in the future I'll be able to have both done and feel more comfortable and satisfied with my body. Dr Toy is estimating 12-14 pounds of skin and fat reduction through lipo combined. Just have to start some serious saving for the procedure due to not wanting to put it on credit.

I wish you luck and I hope that you are able to focus on what is most important to you. At this stage of the game losing is hard but maintaining takes a lot of work too. Knowing you're never alone in this endless battle sure helps.

You can either believe it will happen.....or believe it won't.  Both are self fulfilled prophesies. For Me it has happened.  My Surgery was September 21/2010

Why do you have to pay for lift if you are already having a breast reduction..... don't they go together??  My friend had a breast reduction a few years ago and they reduced and lifted and it all was covered by AHS.

Who knows with AHS..... not sure how they expect people to get a reduction and not lift them back into place lol

I've wondered that too, cause if your gonna reduce they should be lifted but maybe with Dr. Toy it's different. He did say that he could use some of the fatty tissue on the side and underarm to make them more supported. The next time I see him I'm gonna ask more question cause honestly I'd love to get them done without paying a small fortune and not have to wait so long. My back can't handle the heavy weight.
