Abbreviations... So confused!

Ok.. so I have some questions...

I am BRAND new to all of this having just gotten my referral to the bariatric clinic..

Everyone here posts using abbreviations.  Some I can figure out but others I am totally and utterly lost!  I am sure after years many of you use them as second nature but for people just starting to explore options... it can be really frustrating.

Is there someone out there that has a list of the common abbreviations used that wouldnt mind sharing or point me to a board or site that would help?
