Hello

Teenuh was wondering why you choose the Sleeve vs RNY

I'm still trying to decide on one of the two

Thanks and good luck on Wednesday!!

just wondering if anyone knows what Dr Sharma does in weight wise  i know who he is and all but i didnt think he actually done surgery's anymore and i was told a friend of mine  has to see  Dr Sharma  they told him he was on the right track for surgery  but bascially  i figured he would see kwon or   modi   instead he sees Dr Sharma  anyone   know  why that would be the case perhaps ?

the big deciding factor for me was because we want to have children after WLS.  RNY has malabsorption as part of its weight loss process, during pregnancy this can cause issues if the baby or yourself isnt getting enough nutrients even with regular vitamins.
over time the weight loss recorded by both surgeries is roughly equal, so I chose the sleeve

hi all
surgery went well overall...while they were in there they discovered my esophagus was twisted as well so they had concern about leaking at the connection of the esophagus and the stomach. My heart did some funny things post op and we have to keep an eye on that now, went really low and then really high all in the matter of a minute or 2

other than that i'm home now, sipping and trying some new things...applesauce and soup broth seem to be my faves so far...

baby steps!

thank you its good to know  that  you  get to be in a semi  and not a private  i really dont want to be alone in a room actually  ...   but  gosh knows  how  much longer before i get a call  i was told usually  3 to 9 months from the class but  as i said i dont know how many surgerys  Dr Davey does   if he does them once a week or not  ,,,,,,,,,  hoping his office calls   soon
