Edmonton area people who went to Mexico

I'd like to meet others who headed south - maybe coffee?

Just found this thread.. Did an edmonton coffee date ever happen?? I would love to meet some people with experience

I am scheduled for surgery on March 18th in Mexico with Dr Almanza and would love to meet people  who have had it done.  

What part of Edmonton are you in? My afternoons are generally pretty flexible. I'm in the north end but have wheels.
