I have just realized something that blows my mind! On Jan 23, the morning of my RNY I was 255 lbs, 9 and a half months later, on Nov 12, I am just under 127 lbs, which means I have lost 128 lbs!!! I am literally half the size of where i started 9 and a half months ago! Ridiculous! Awesome! Its a dream come true! Thanks to you all who have been helping me keep on track, and for your support!

holy you look smoking hot!!! congratulations! after my first appointment the other month i was a little disappointed when they said you would only loose about 30-40% of your weight with surgery (i would like to weigh half of me too, lol)  you have obviously gone over that percentage.

Totally! When I went to my first group app they told us with Rny, this would help us lose 60% of our excess weight in the first yr and a half.... So my expectations were set pretty low! My goal weight was 150 lbs to be in a normal bmi... So I thought after a yr and a half I would be somewhere around 180 lbs.... Which sounded better then my at the time 255 lbs... I had no idea that in 9 months I could/would be smaller then my year and a half goal of 180! In fact the idea of being less then 150 lbs never even crossed my mind, let alone being in the 120's! I truly feel blessed!

How wonderful!  Clearly you've put your heart and soul into this and now you set a shining example for those of us who are still working towards our wls surgery goals.  Congratulations and hugs to you

Wow, that's amazing!  Good for you.  I don't think I will ever reach the 120's.  I seem to be stuck at the 152 mark.  Which is okay, if I never gain another pound.  I would like to get to 140 and then have that 10 lbs leeway for bounce back.  But its my own fault because I have been letting some carbs sneak back in.  Time to get back on track!

You should be very proud of yourself!
