Day 3 post op

Well I've definately had better days. Second day and they think I got dehydrated already but also waiting for chest x ray to check for phenomia. Had a really fast heart rate and a fever did anyone else experience this?

Your IV should be dealing with any dehydration issue. I hope they find the problem and you feel much better soon!

6 hours after being put in my own room something happened to me. I can't remember it all in detail but I do know my blood pressure bottomed out and my pulse rate went through the roof and so they called back in the surgical team and for a while I remember it being like a circle of people coming and going and them drugging me up and then trying to have me respond to their questions. A pretty little blond surgeon thought that I might have a leak or bleed and was prepared to go back into surgery with me at midnight, apparently the drugs worked and within an hour I was sleeping comfortable and everything returned to normal. They thought it was my body's reaction to the trauma and pain of surgery but I guess we'll never know now cause it's been 2 years.
