I was lOving protein shakes pre surgery! But since sleeve I haven't had the stomach for anything! I got desperate and mixed Chocolate flavored whey in with puddings.

Now I know there's some great options you can order online but after running out of injury mix (yuck!)

I went to gnc and got a tub of whey iso burst in dbl chocolate
Less than 100 calories and 40+ g's of protein,  mixed with lactose free milk in blender and to my surprise I like it! It had no texture and no after taste!

If your looking for a new whey I suggest this one!

I'm definitely intrigued, but could you check the label again for me? Protein has 4 calories per gram, so the most protein you could get for 100 calories is 25. (Still a GREAT deal if it tastes decent!)

I've found another local whey you might find inoffensive. It's made by Kaisen and I buy the unflavoured at SaveOn. It mixes into cold beverages pretty well and works in coffee if I mix it into cold milk first. I can give you a sample to try once I'm back home from vacation.

I've ordered in several flavours of Syntrax nectors and really like them so far. I'm finding that the smell of most whey powders is really hard to take, and that funky protein aftertaste - eww...

I'm pre op and it was the first protein i ever bought...the chocolate and vanilla are my favorites and i mix them with my coffee in the mornings!
one scoop (1/2 serving) and a little milk and mix it with my coffee frother, add a pump of flavouring (if i want) and then slowly add my coffee....20g protein coffee! amazing way to start the mornign after a workout!

Pre op I loved the shakes. Since its been hard to stomach them so finding one was a big deal!  Wish I could mix but my plan says no coffee for 6 months
