reached 100 lb loss

I dont write on here often, but I do read everyones comments fairly regularily. I love to see how everyone is dealing with their surgeries etc. I just have to let you all know that I reached 100 lbs loss yesterday! I am sooo very happy. I had gastric bypass on Feb.8th and life has been absolutely wonderful since. I have had very little issues, I can eat anything, and I am wearing size 9 pants.
My husband is absolutely amazed by my appearance as I have never been this small in the 18 years we have been together. I have started to ride our horses again, I hardly watch tv as I have so much energy I am always outside on our acreage. I could go on and on, but for now I just want to tell everyone that is not sure about the surgery, my life has changed so much, it is the best thing I could have ever done. The only regret I have is, why did I wait so long to do it.

i am so happy for you. it is great to hear such positivity. i am just starting myjourney, and am hoping to have surgery, i have my first appointment at the weight wise clinic at the end of october. i recently was reading some of the horror stories that some people have had after gastric bypass and was starting to freak myself out.... while i know that complications can happen it is great to hear about your success! right now my biggest fear is only that they will decide that i am not a candidate for surgery...
