So frustrated with Weight Wise appt today!

The surgeons have a set schedule, they do surgeries only on certain days and have time in the clinic on other days.  The time for the follow-up visits is already set and is not taking up your time in the OR.  In my opinion, this follow-up time should be spent following up with the patients that he's already done surgery on as per the appointment schedule, this is part of their job.

 I have no problemjng with allowing others to do the follow up if they have read my file and know what is going in.  If I'm following up they should at least know what surgery I have had.

I don't really appreciate your comment. It seems to imply that me or others wanting to see our surgeon after surgery is holding you up from having surgery.  We all want surgery fast. But I did the work, made the lifestyle changes and was given this incredible tool to maintain my lifestyle change.  After working so hard, I feel that I was entitled to see my surgeon for the follow up appointment they booked for me.

ouch i have to say this ,  i too want  my surgery  but  i dont agree to leave the doctors do there surgery  and see other people afterwards because honestly   when a doctor  does my surgery  i want him  rested  not stuck in the surgical  unit all day   .. when i am healing i want them to come tell me how  its going not someone who didnt do the work ,   i mean  its true everyone wants that   fast surgery yes  but i think since this is a lifestyle change and  it took longer then a year for me to get this way  im just happy enough to wait and have them tell me yes i am ready  instead of  having a  over worked doctor  mess up  i  dont want to be a mistake 

My GP got mad at the clinic and wrote a letter stating that if they wanted to just do surgery then they should be " surgery based" . that after care should be done by the people who started this process  WWclinic.. That he has knowledge but most dr's dont.

I believe that too many fast tracked patience equals. Ongoing issues. sorry. We didnt get this way over night and im glad i was blessed with my " Non Health Issues" really ..no high blood pressure no meds only for ADHD .. Only excessively over weight. which in time could have been a huge issue.. Writing letters does change things .. but it takes more people to complain.. no one. but many..
