I haven't posted in a looong while! So hi to all the pals I met here on my journey and to everyone new as well. Good luck on the upcoming surgury dates!

Don't be afraid - it's the best decision I've made.

I'm enjoying the summer in normal clothes - feeling comfortable to swim, hike, etc. I bought a bike and use it often.

I met all the clinic goals and will do plastic surgery this winter. I'm still not at my personal goal -  I have had a tough struggle with arthritis this last six months.

If anyone's looking for a buddy to message to keep on track let me know ;)
Or if you have any questions!

I'm now confortably in size 12-14 clothes. Size M- L tops. Down from a size 22/ 3X.
Dating, dancing, having fun... life is good. Happy summer everyone!

Nice to see you post a progress update and glad to hear you're doing well. I too say this is the best choice I have ever made. The clinic discharged me a few months back as I had excedded all goals they set for me. I was a little sad at firt but now I'm ready to move on to the next chapter. I love the new me and can't wait to have my plastics done. I've already seen Dr. Toy and have a quote from him. My aim is for the early New year.

You can either believe it will happen.....or believe it won't.  Both are self fulfilled prophesies. For Me it has happened.  My Surgery was September 21/2010

Nice to hear from both of you. You guys inspired me a lot when I was new here.  I have also been discharged from the clinic and that made me a little sad and scared.  I have been battling some regain, but overall I am happy. Plastics are expensive and I will have think about it pretty carefully, but it would be nice to have that done, but I mentally feel I need to prove to myself that I can keep the weight off before the plastics.  It was also the best decision I ever made. Now, if I could just get the weight to start falling again!  It is not as easy as it used to be.
