New Here well sorta!!!!!

 Hey everyone, I'm kinda new to this forum...I've been a member since March but have not posted till now!!!  I'm beginning the process towards surgery...Its a very frustrating process to me...I was referred to the Weight Wise Clinic at the Royal Alex by Dr Karmali...I need to have gall bladder surgery and incisional hernia repair...The later of which he would rather do after I have lost some weight and he doesn't seem to think the 20 or so I've lost in the last year and the total of 40lbs since I had my last son in 2008!

I actually have questions about the modules but I will ask them in another post!!  I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself!!!

hello Julie welcome to the boards  i think there is awesome people who help you out with questions in this form  i think since i joined here ive become addicted to read  and basically check back on people who were lucky enough to  make it to there surgery  i am also new so  doing modules  will be a first for me    yet  since many years past ive been doing   recording of what i eat  also  doing  my moods and steps i take   charting them  also i was a very heavy smoker   only to quit march 11th with determination  i need a life change  i too am heading to edmonton  in 2 hours  which is  midnight  here in grande cache  so i will be leaving soon  to drive  there ,   i know the people on this form who did  the modules  will help you out  there great really   ,    good luck  with  your journey  i know you can do it

Hi Julie,

I live in Stony Plain and I am awaiting surgery on Aug 14. I have done a few of the modules in the Grove and they are ran well. Good luck starting the program and your journey, its so worth it!
