Thank you so much for this information and quick response. I just spent 2000 for an all-inc trip to the RM golf resort in Mexico, and wasn't thinking about weight loss surgery at the time, just food. I remember Mexicali from a drive-thru trip with my husband years ago. I am unfamiliar with the sleeve and must study up...So appreciate the cost info and it is better than I had expected. Guess I could put the get-aways money in a piggybank and put the money  saved toward surgery -and travel again in a couple of years without having to worry about the seat belt closing or fining a size 24 swimsuit! Thanks and I hope we will talk again. k

Kelle, congrats finally your wait is over.
Expect everything to hurt for a while, I had a rotten 4-5 weeks. You are raw inside and the tunnels take 6 -8 weeks to heal ( so the Surgeon says).
Sounds like you are doing well.
Congrats!

The first couple of days I was just wanting to have everything back the way it was, but last night I started feeling a bit better and stopped feeling like I had made a mistake.
Today I got up early and went out for a walk with the hubby and the dog and am enjoying myself. I get full fast, but that is the point right! Other than that I am worried that I am feeling too good and something is going to go wrong soon.
