how often does the Edmonton WW do surgery?

 I called my surgeons office this morning and there are 19 people ahead of me....
I know he does surgeries on tuesdays...does this mean that i have to wait 19 more tuesdays? so pushing surgery into October????

I did the same and I am 16th on the list, they told me I would be looking at Sept.
I am with Dr Birch as well.

 I just has surgery with Dr. birch 2 weeks ago.  I am unable to have my 3 week follow up with him as he has the entire month of July off. I was told he is not doing surgeries in July either.  

wonder if its worth asking for a different surgeon, but i'd imagine they are all taking holidays....

Asking for a new surgeon most likely won't get you anywhere as they all have waiting lists...
On average each surgeon does 3 surgeries per week...usually one RNY, one VSG, and one LapBand, but it's not always the case.
From my approval I waited 6 months and 1 day because of H1N1 and they were closing and canceling operating rooms left right and center.
Good luck and patience is a vurtue...in the end it will all work out, and think, you have been waiting this long, what is another 6-8 weeks...
Use those 6-8 weeks to mentally prepare because when you get the date and you realize what is actually going to happen, and when, the mind stars going, you think you know everything, but that's when reality kicks in...trust me...

i'm feeling very prepared...i think thats the hardest part...kinda like a hurry up and wait.
