Clear protein drinks in Edmonton?

I'm setting myself up for success here and have my own section of counter set up with my protein shakes, various flavours of whey powder, baby food mill, small dishes and cutlery etc, but there's one thing I haven't been able to find anywhere - clear protein drinks.

Is adding unflavoured whey to Crystal Light and broth good enough to be called clear? If so - I'm golden. If not - help?

You can get the clear protein drinks at Shopper's Drug Mart. They come in Orange and I think it's lemonade. But to be honest I thought they were discusting and at over 2 dollars a bottle definitely not worth it. They also have protein breezer's that mix with water at Popeye's.

I found the ice tea protein breezer mix at Popeyes pretty good on a hot day

Popeye's will order you protein shots but to be honest they are NASTY!
I'd rather drink protein shakes then protein shots...

You're so right! We're down in Mexicali, but stopped in San Diego for a couple of days. I found 2 brands of shots and bought 2 of each. Oh my word - they were truly vile! We each took sip from each, then we just chucked them.

GNC/London drugs pharmacy had the RTD orange and lemonade ones...and yes they were very strong, i could have watered them down...

I ordered some Nectar from LuckyVitamin....the ones i've tried (fuzzy navel and the iced tea ones) just taste like diluted drink crystals....pretty tasty! and they are classified as clear liquids...

i've got my own shelf in the pantry too with all my stuff too lol!

Turns out I'm only on totally cear until next Tuesday - the day after we arrive home. So I just need to find a source close to our hotel in San Diego and alternate them with Crystal Light, herb tea and broth. Starting Tuesday I can have any shakes I like as long as I make them with water instead of milk. A week later it's full fluids - thin, non lumpy soups, protein shakes, thinned yogurt etc?

This definitely isn't "the easy way out" but I'm so glad I did it!

Yes, I did, Kee, and thanks.
When I found out on June 1st that my re-intake to the clinic was not until August 22, with no guarantee that I'd get surgery this time or how long it would take, I decided that I needed to explore all options. I learned a LOT from the clinic program, but with our first grand baby coming in January I was feeling pressure to be in good shape to help our daughter by then.
I'm fortunate that we have some savings put aside, so started checking out self-pay (and therefore hopefully quicker) options, starting within Canada.
With our family doctor's support and willingness to do my aftercare I chose Dr Aceves in Mexicali and can't find enough good to say about our experience. (my sis decided to have it done as well and my husband and her daughter travelled with us)
Our surgeries were Tuesday and we arrived back in San Diego yesterday. We're spending a couple of days relaxing before heading home Monday.
I'm not having any trouble sipping all of my protein and water, and am feeling really well, although I tire easily. This was the right decision for me.
Really, the only real complaint I have about the Edmonton clinic, (and I don't blame the people there at all, it's an amazing program) is timeline, which I'm sure equates to funding. Dr Aceves works in a small, insanely clean private hospital and performs 3 sleeves a day, 6 days a week except for when he's traveling to conferences or lecturing. Imagine what would happen to wait times if our surgeons were allowed even 1/2 that amount of OR access.
