Wait Lists and Surgeons

I had my surgery in Medicine Hat.  From my initial refferal with my Family Dr to the actual surgery day was 5 years.

theres the link for the Weight Wise clinic in Edmonton.  For me my referal went in in March, first appt was December only because i pushed it from november. I'm on the list for a surgery date and it will probably be september-ish. I pushed my one appt from Jan to feb as well (had a lot to think about regarding WLS and fertility issues as well).

If your not planning on having any more kiddos, i'd recommend a good birth control or even double protection, i use the Nuvaring so i dont have to worry about anything oral (throwing up or digesting etc) and having to remember anything too.
