Could you call his office for advice/encouragement? Call the Alec and ask for the number of the booking office?
I'm currently waiting for a call too, in my case for readmittance to the clinic. I was told to just try not to gain, get back to journaling and keep track of exercise. Having something to DO while I wait is a help.
The journaling helps a lot, even if you aren't eating super well at the moment.
Just a thought - have you taken the Weight Wise modules? Even if you aren't required to take them you may find them helpful, and they'd help pass the time. I did them all last year, and although I didn't love every minute of every one I learned a LOT from them.
I hope you hear soon.

Ive had my surgery with Dr Davies and Had the Vertical Sleeve done. My experience was really good but i was very impatient. Once i seen him i thought it would be instantaneous but it wasnt .It wasnt until my second visit with him that i was given my "6 to 8 " week wait ,but as luck had it a bed became available with some alotted surgery room time for the Dr.Within 2 .5 weeks i was in the hospital having the procedure done. For me my procedure went off with out a hitch although i was concerned to find there was no leak test done the next day.But i made sure i had all the numbers i needed in the event i started to feel nautious and fevered as that would point to something irregular.
Just keep in mind that there is risk involved as i had the pleasure of meeting a gentlemen who wasnt so lucky with his surgeon.Dr Davies is probably the guru of Gastric surgeons in the Edmonton area.A week later he also preform surgery on my son who had a terrible case of Crohns and is doing really well also.My best advice to you is foloow his direction to a tee, and dont deviate. He asks you to follow certain steps for a reason and everything will be fine.If you need to to the 2 week Ensure diet and have a tough time stuggling with it ...what i did was mix one bottle of high protein ensure with one cup of milk ,then mix and alot of ice cubes and just sip away ...break it up throughout the day and you will be fine plus it taste really good cut with milk and really cold. Im ix weeks post op and have dropped 2 sizes effortlessly.if you like feel free to visit my page and ive kind of journaled my experiences so far.Good luck and stay positive The sleeve is the best thing ive ever done for Me :0)
