Places to buy appropriate protien powder in Edmonton?

I'm from GP and was wondering if there were any places in Edmonton to buy the right protien powders needed for before/after WLS?
currently I go to GNC here in town and get the Whey ISO boost, which is good...but I was hoping to find some other options...
any thoughts?

Weight wise recommends Beneprotein. You can buy it from the hospital. Safeway and Save-on pharmacies have also brought it in for people with a couple of days notice. I've also used Iso_femme from Suoerstore in their 'diet' section. HTH

Just my 2 cents worth but it's probably better to wait until after surgery to try some protein powders or just use skim milk powder. I say this because after surgery our taste and tummys change. I bought lots of protein powders and couldn't use any of them after surgery. They all hurt my tummy so bad and wouldn't digest properly. I ended up wasting so much money. Even the beneprotein which is very expensive for the little can you get wouldn't agree and tasted terrible. I tended to try and use the protein bars from shoppers to help increase my protein and they worked ok, they were just the life brand ones and were about $1.49 a bar and sometimes they woud go on for .99 cents.
I know Edmonton has Popeye's which comes highly recommended.

If you're looking for mail order try bodybuilding.com and look in the store. I bought some All Max nutrition banana cream( it is one of the best sellers). Even with shipping to my home it was cheaper than GNC, and online the different flavor choices were great.
