What is going on.....
Hi all, I am needing some advice here. Monday afternoon after eating some meatloaf I had an incredibly gurgling stomach. I had a cheese string for a snack at 3pm. Shortly afterwards, I started feeling some stomach pain which would come in waves. In the evening I was feeling quite uncomfortable. A pain would come, my stomach would gurgle and then the pain would go away until a couple of minutes later I would go through it again. I also started to feel nauseaus and vomited bright yellow. By 5:30 Tuesday morning I drove myself to emergency. I had vomited a number of times and the pain was bad. The pain started to go lower and radiate around to my lower back. I got no sleep. I thought that maybe something was stuck. After boodwork and xrays, some morphine and gravol. I was sent home. The results came back nothing wrong. It is now Wednesday and I am still feeling nauseaous and the pain is still there albeit less. Percocet's have been helping alot for the pain. This morning I had an abdominal ultrasound for my gallbladder. I don't know the results yet. I have not eaten anything for the past two days except about 4 grapes, and a few spoons of yogurt. What is wrong with me? They've ruled out any kind of obstruction with the xrays. I still hear my stomach gurgle. The nausea is getting to me. Food and drink turn me off. I just can't get comfortable due to the pain. I am worried...

Sorry you are not feeling well. I don't have any guess as to what's happening, but did you have the hospital call your surgeon? My surgeon was pretty clear that no matter what he wanted to be called because not everyone looks at the symptoms the same way he would. Don't hesitate to call, an ulcer, a tear or just about anything could be going on. Take care and let us know how you are doing
Do you have diabetes or gallbaldder disease?
I have not had weight loss surgery yet, but I have had these same symptoms going on years now. I got my gallbladder removed last year and the symptoms continue and now they believe that it has something to do with my diabetes and the blood sugar levels not being even enough and then the stomach says to empty!
Good luck with finding out what is wrong, keep us updated!

I received the results of my ultrasound and my gallbladder is okay. Go figure?! I don't know what is was. I am feeling much better now. but the tummy is still not right. I have an upcoming appointment with my surgeon and I will bring this experience up to him and maybe he will have some insight. Perhaps this was a case of severe stomach flu? It seemed to painful for that. I don't know. But I am feeling better now, thank god!
