Cross Addiction!
Hello,
I hear on various forums the danger of various cross addictions one could get after surgery if they aren't careful. Trade one bad habit for another. Well, I have discovered mine........clothes shopping. I can't get enough! I have become one of the those people who races out to the mall during a half-hour lunch to buy some item of clothing and then proceed to hide the purchase from my husband, hoping he won't notice. Usually he does. He's going to kill me pretty soon.
I find I have a new outlook on shopping. For so many years I hated clothes shopping for myself. I would still buy, but usually it was for my kids, or a new purse for myself (whole other story...).
Now I can fit into more clothes styles, fit all those trendy necklaces. Nothing wrong with those $214 tall boots I bought! Eek...hopefully I can slow down...and soon! ;-)

LOL, you and I should be sisters. I so have the same cross addiction. I have had to buy every size from a 24 to an 8 so I can contribute that to my addiction. I also hide things and when asked about it I just kinda say "What you haven't seen this before, I've had it for months. But I wouldn't pay 214 bucks for a pair of boots.
I tend to shop alot in the city. Aeropostal, American Eagle, Old Navy, Wear House One, Marks also but my worst addiction is probably Victoria Secrets.
Remember you are never alone.

I know, I cringed while I was buying the boots...online of course. I have wanted tall boots for a long time and I still need wide calf boots. So the selection out there is not alot. I also have a size 11 foot. Sheesh! I wish they would shrink!. They were ordered in a weak moment, that's forsure. I have bought clothes at Old Navy, Ricki's, Mark's WWH, and Costco. Recently on our trip to Vegas I bought some clothes at Lane Bryant in their smallest size. Also bought some great formed bras that actually lift and make 'em round. Gotta love it! I also love Mark's yoga pants. Thank god we don't have a LuLuLemon here!!!!!
